YOPESO Global Emergency Platform for Medical Supplies

While we all keep struggling to fight the COVID-19 pandemic, today, I would like to share with you a new initiative from a GBO member, David Rodríguez, from Berlin. His company, YOPESO, has developed a Global Emergency Platform aimed to help tackle the scarcity of medical devices worldwide.

Please find below more details about the platform: REGISTRATION OF MEDICAL SUPPLIES

Platform functionalities

The German software company YOPESO GmbH has built overnight during the German #wirvsvirushackathon a new platform http://venti.yopeso.com/ that facilitates the registration of medical supplies worldwide.

Clinics and other owners of critical medical equipment (e.g. stoke piles) can easily register and indicate the number of medical supplies they have and clinics/regional infrastructures in crisis can display their request most urgently needed.

We started enabling the registration of ventilators but this can be easily extended to masks, test kits and other medical supplies urgently needed. The aim is to have those critical equipment in use rather than stored when not required.

GLOBAL DELIVERIES IN THREE DAYS

The Dutch company BLACK LION HOLDING B.V. (BLHG) has a special agreement with Partners in China regarding the delivery of large quantities of medical products to any countries. With a special Boeing 747 Aircraft we can deliver for a period of 3 Months, at the frequency of 12 times per month, 2-3 days time anywhere in the world: 160 Million Masks, 100 Million Test Kits, Over 20 Million Thermometers, 1000s of Ventilators and other necessary products. This way we save governments money on Cargo Aircraft.

If you have any similar initiatives and want to spread the word, please let me know and we will try to help as much as we can. There are areas which are specially suffering at the moment, and every little help counts.

Together, we can beat COVID-19. Together, we will be stronger. Together, we are #ProudToBeGBO.
